Andrea Oxberger

A little about me ...
I am originally from California. I moved to Arizona in 2003. I am married (21 years) and have three sons’ ages, 14, 17 and 20. As a family, we enjoy restoring old muscle cars going to car shows, and spending time at the lake. My hobbies include reading, painting and my horses.

I love Orthodontics because ...
I started working as a dental assistant in 1979. Over the years I have worked in various positions and specialties. I discovered that Orthodontics was the only place for me. In Ortho, because average treatment is approximately two years, we really get to know our patients and develop relationships with their families. It is very rewarding to watch someone grow and change along with their smile.

At Shipley Orthodontics ...
My job is to help you get started with your orthodontic treatment. I will be with you at your initial exam to assist Dr. Shipley. I can answer any questions about your treatment process and financial options. I have been doing this for many years and will help you find the resources needed to facilitate your goal towards a beautiful smile.

A little about me ...

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I am married; and my husband and I have one boxer named Bradock. I like to go snowboarding, 4-wheeling, wakeboarding, and camping. In my spare time I enjoy a good movie, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family.

I love Orthodontics because ...

We establish friendships with our patients and get to see them grow up. We see how their smiles change throughout treatment. When I had braces on I loved going to the orthodontist and seeing what they were going to do next. I noticed results right away and it built up my self confidence. The opportunity to learn something new everyday is very exciting.

At Shipley Orthodontics I am ...

I am the Front Office Supervisor. I feel very fortunate to have been with Dr. Shipley since 2006, during the stages of a new and growing practice. Our staff has so much fun together and we're just like family here. Dr. Shipley is an amazing orthodontist and a wonderful boss.

You come to see me when ...

At your first visit to our office, I meet with you to discuss treatment options, custom financing, and I assist Dr. Shipley during his initial exam with you. I am willing to answer any and all questions that you may have. You will also see me scheduling your next appointment and going over financial arrangements. Braces are Fun and for everyone!!!

A little about me ...

I was born and raised here in Phoenix, Arizona. I am married; and we have one son named Brandon and two dogs named Cali and Scrappy. I love the beach, and traveling. In my spare time; I enjoy camping, wakeboarding, fishing, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.

I love orthodontics because ...

I get to enjoy the experience observing our patient's progress towards a perfect smile watching their self confidence build. I also enjoy meeting new faces and getting to know people during their treatment.

I am the lead assistant. I can help guide you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your treatment. I'm also the one who runs the monthly contest and bracket bucks program!

A little about me ...
I was born in El Salvador, but raised in California. I moved to Arizona about three years ago to look for a better opportunity. I am happily married and have two kids Ryan and Brandon. I love spending time with my family. Whenever possible, we take short trips around Phoenix.

I love Orthodontics because ...
Its gives me an opportunity to help patients improve their smile and their self confidence. That alone is very rewarding for me to see patients look in the mirror and see how their smile improves month to month.

At Shipley Orthodontics ...
I am one of the assistants. Some of my duties include changing your wires and rubber bands; as well as taking x-rays. I can answer a lot of your questions pertaining to your braces; I have 14 years of experience in orthodontics. I have worked for many different orthodontists and also have worked in a corporate environment and nothing compares to working with Dr. Shipley. He is an awesome doctor as well as a boss. Working here has helped me realize that Dr. Shipley treats our patients as if they are his own family. This does not happen at corporate run dental offices. I am also fluent in Spanish, so I can translate for you or your family. Shipley Orthodontics "ROCKS"!

A little about me ...
I’m originally from San Mihai (St. Michael), a small Romanian town. I completed my dental assisting program in Belgrade, Serbia. I am married and have two children; Nicolas and Emma. I moved to Phoenix in 1998, and have been a dental assistant since that time. I am fluent in both Romanian and Serbian. I enjoy traveling, crafts, and playing with my children.

I love Orthodontics because ...
I’ve always been fascinated by orthodontics. Growing up overseas, no one wore braces. I remember when my husband used to visit as a child. He was the only person I’d ever seen with braces. It’s interested me ever since. The ability to perfect a smile, and see our patients smile, is a wonderful feeling.

At Shipley Orthodontics ...
An assistant. I’ve been with Dr. Shipley since 2007. My duties include all aspects of orthodontics, from your initial x-rays and impressions, monthly adjustments and finally, debanding.

A little about me ...
I was born and raised in Page, Arizona. I moved to Phoenix after I graduated from high school and attended Arizona State University. I have two cats, Puma and Newman. I enjoy spending time on Lake Powell, camping, off roading, and hanging out with family and friends.

It is fulfilling to watch and participate in helping someone's self confidence grow. It's great field to work with all age groups.

I work as an assistant helping you with any concerns or questions you have about your or your child's treatment. At Shipley Orthodontics everyone is friendly and fun. Dr. Shipley is the best orthodontist I have ever worked for.

A little about me ....
I was born in Gilbert, Arizona; then moved to Ventura, California for about eight years, and finally moved back to Arizona. I love to play sports. My favorite sport is soccer. When I'm not working, I love to go shopping, spend time with my boyfriend and my family.

I love Orthodontics because ...
My brother was a patient of Dr. Shipley's. After seeing the wonderful change the braces made for my brother, I came in to get my braces. I fell in love with the way they began to transform my smile, and the care Dr. Shipley gave me and my family. Now, my mom has started Invisalign treatment and loves the results. Seeing the results for my family interested me in working here and learning more about the process. I love seeing everyone so happy with the way their smile becomes more gorgeous each visit.
